Resource Scheduler is a Gantt-based planning tool designed to graphically chart resources and associated tasks over a scheduled time frame. Engineers and planners can lay out long range project activities; make real-time adjustments as projects are executed and then view how the changes affect the entire project schedule. The tasks can be linked, so when one task moves, the linked tasks move as well. Charted resources are listed in a tree structure next to a Gantt-based grid where their corresponding tasks are positioned to graphically represent durations. The application excels in graphical feedback from the Gantt chart and is focused around creation of a high quality printed Gantt chart. Interactive display of data is also highly configurable. User-defined task and resource attributes are supported as well as pick lists, each of which are stored in separate database columns for easy querying.
