LaCinetek is a VOD (video on demand) website dedicated to the greatest films of the twentieth century. The films available are chosen and presented by directors from all over the world. Each director associated with LaCinetek has composed the list of his or her fifty most beloved films: their ideal film library. It is the addition of all of these lists that constitutes our catalogue, which grows every month thanks to new acquisitions and to the list of a new affiliated director. The goal of LaCinetek is to render films accessible online that would not otherwise be visible and to impart our passion for cinema. Currently, over 1000 key films of the twentieth century are available, including more than 250 films previously unreleased as Video On Demand. Access to the website is free of charge. You can visit it for as long as you like, explore the list of films from the affiliated directors, watch their exclusive or “archive” bonuses free of charge, or discover the top rankings from the lists, meaning the films or directors that were the most often cited by their colleagues. Only the rental or purchase of a film are payable. LaCinetek is available on computers (Mac or PC), mobile phones, and tablets. The website is compatible with Chromecast so that you can enjoy your films on the big screen. Our catalogue is also accessible from the Freebox for Free subscribers; only the subscription deal ("The Monthly Selection") is not available from the Freebox shop.
