The app uses a music recognition software to record and identify all songs played at a party. The app can run in the background of your phone, using up minimal battery life, to record and compile a full playlist from any event. You can then transfer this playlist onto your Spotify easily through the app. If you don’t want the full playlist, you can select the ones you like and export those exclusively. Having all the music saved within the app also means you can play the exact playlist of a night whenever and wherever you want, bringing the party to life once again. Vollou also contains an in-app camera to take photos of your wildest memories which you can upload to a shared album between you and your friends. This way, everyone at the party can exchange the photos and videos they took real time, saving all the memories in one place. In the app, your feed will show your own uploaded memories as well as your friends. This way, everyone has access to each other’s sessions (which include the photos, videos and music). You have the option of making your content more private by sharing it with a smaller group of close friends or even making it available to your eyes only.
