Takeafile is a peer-to-peer platform to transfer files of any size at maximum speed in a secure way. Ease of use is key to Takeafile, thus not the sender nor the recipient have to login or install anything, it works in a traditional browser like Chrome or Firefox. To achieve this, Takeafile uses the WebRTC protocol to create a direct connection between devices. Then, the file is sent using the maximum bandwidth between them. This means that if both users are in the same local network, the transfer speed will be up to 10 times faster than cloud-based solutions.
